HOW AND WHEN DO I PAY?
Payment is collected via Stripe. You will receive an invoice every Monday via email. Payments are due by Wednesday at noon and may be auto-collected if not completed by then. We collect on a weekly basis.
HOW DO YOU SELECT YOUR TUTORS?
Our tutors go through a thorough selection process. Once we receive their application and deem them a good fit based on their resume, we contact their references. Then, we conduct a face-to-face interview to gain a sense of their character. If they have made a good impression, we then run a background check. If all of these steps result in an A+, we proceed with the hiring. But they're not yet in the clear! Our tutors are then NTA Certified and Trained which means they are thoroughly background checked again. It's safe to say we assure you are being matched with the best of the best.
WHAT IF THE TUTOR ISN'T A GOOD FIT?
Though rare, we acknowledge that you may have different expectations of your tutor than we do. Prior to meeting the tutor for the first time, we encourage you to read their bio in our Meet the Team tab. If you don't feel we've matched you with the best fit, please do not hesitate to contact us. We can always match you with another tutor.
WHAT IF SOMETHING COMES UP LAST MINUTE?
We get it- things happen. We ask that you please give a minimum of 24 hours for cancellations and rescheduling. Though you will have the tutor's contact information, please be sure to contact us first and we will inform the tutor. If a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours of start time, you will be charged a $30 cancellation fee. However, if you can provide a doctor's note or have a reasonable circumstance, we are 100% understanding and will waive the cancellation fee.
WHAT IF WE HAVE A COMPLICATED SCHEDULE?
We provide maximum scheduling flexibility and can work around any complexities you may have! As long as you provide 24-hour notice ahead of any changes, we can accommodate it all.
